I’m back with another no-carve Halloween pumpkin idea for you. If you’re looking for something a little bit creepy, consider this glowing spiderweb pumpkin craft. It’s also a great way to cover up any pumpkins from previous seasons that may not match your current style.
The spiderweb pumpkin looks perfectly pretty sitting in the daylight. But turn on the fairy lights at night and you have a creepy, spiderific pumpkin! The glowing spots look a little like spider eggs. Just hot glue wool roving (about 2 ounces are needed) and fairy lights to a fake pumpkin and add in a few fake spiders.
A white or light-colored pumpkin is best for this craft, as you won’t have to worry about fully covering the color underneath. You could also paint your pumpkin white.

Supplies:
- White pumpkin
- Gold paint pen
- White roving (about 2 ounces)
- Strand of fairy lights
- Hot glue gun
- Fake spiders
Instructions:
Step 1: Start with a white pumpkin or paint your pumpkin white. Go ahead and use your gold paint pen to paint the stem gold. Let it dry.
Step 2: Separate the white roving and start gluing it onto the pumpkin, covering the entire thing except for the stem. Do one layer, then add your fairy lights, spreading them out and hot gluing them on all over the pumpkin.
Step 3: Hot glue on another layer of white roving. Add a couple of spiders.
Switch on the fairy lights at night for a spooky Halloween vibe.
