Happy National Ice Cream Day! I had the idea for this DIY paper and Pom Pom ice cream cone garland over a month ago, but finally finished it and took photos so that I could post it today! This is such a simple craft and perfect for any summer time ice cream party or just for decor. I used brown Kraft card stock, 1.5″ yarn pom poms and bakers twine. While I did use my Cricut to cut out the paper cones, you could easily hand cut the cone shapes as well using the template below.
Use this template to cut out your cones, slip in a few pom poms (I like to make mine with a Pom Pom maker and Omegacryl yarn and then trim them down to size), and string them up. Then you have your ice cream garland. So simple and so cute!
