Since I first came up with the plant hanger craft kits a few months ago, I just knew there were so many other ideas for how to create more. I finally cut out a bit of time this weekend to create a few more of my ideas to paint and photograph to share with you. This DIY rainbow wall shelf isn’t a plant hanger, but was yet another idea that I just had to try to make. It came out even better than I hoped and I am now selling it as a craft kit in the shop.
See how cute it is? The craft kit comes with everything you need for your shelf except for the paint.
Materials to make your own DIY Rainbow Wall Shelf:
- Rainbow Arch Craft Kit in small or large (The large one is in the photos here)
- Acrylic paint or spray paint
- Screw driver
- Paint brush
To make the shelf, simply paint in any colors of craft paint you want. Then when dry, slide the shelf into the slot and screw on to the L-brackets with your screw driver.
The last step is to hang your shelf with either a nail or monkey hook (not included).
While I am here, I should also mention the new scalloped plant hanger that is now in the shop too. Isn’t she cute?
