DIY Tassel Earrings for the Fourth of July

Kara Whitten

I made these fun DIY tassel earrings to wear for the Fourth of July this year, and I think I might just rock them all summer long! They feel so carefree and joyful. I cut a small section off the red, white, and blue mylar streamer curtain from my shop to use for this craft.

These easy DIY fringe earrings are great for all ages. And you can customize them to make them as short or long as you like! Check out the full DIY video here.

Supplies:

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut a section of the mylar streamer curtain out, about eight inches long, using about 10-15 strands. Wrap a piece of iridescent duct tape around the middle of the fringe and fold it in half. Repeat.

Step 2: Use your hot glue gun to attach one of your folded fringe pieces inside the gold tassel cup. Repeat.

Step 3: Use a pair of pliers to attach the earring hook to the top of the tassel cup. Repeat.

Step 4: Try the earrings on and trim any excess length off the ends.

Now you’re ready to sparkle for your Fourth of July fireworks show!
