Summer time is almost upon us and I for one am counting down the days! Nothing says summer to me more than lounging my the pool or at the beach with a colorful and fruity cocktail in hand. Am I the only one?
These pineapple dragonfruit vodka sour cocktail pouches are the perfect go to summer cocktail. Not only are they colorful thanks to varying amounts of pineapple juice and dragon fruit puree, but they have a refreshing grown up lemonade flavor thanks to the Agalima Organic Sweet and Sour mix! And they can be made in advance and frozen or refrigerated in these drink pouches for super easy entertaining on the fly. Think of it as a grown up juice box that is the perfect blend of tropical fruit pucker.
Recipe for Pineapple Dragon Fruit Vodka Sour Cocktail Pouches:
- 2 parts Agalima Organic Sweet and Sour Mix
- 1 part pineapple juice
- 1 part lemon vodka
- 1 tsp-Tbsp dragon fruit puree
- Edible flowers, dragon fruit, lemon, star fruit, and pineapple for garnish and flair (optional)
To make, simply add all your ingredients to each drink pouch and then add in any fruit or edible flowers you want. Seal up the bag and shake to mix. If serving immediately, add in crushed ice to each pouch. But my favorite way to serve them is to freeze them! They become the perfect summer slushy to stave off the summer heat!
Because each cocktail is in it’s own leak proof sealable bag, you can premake as many as are need for your outdoor summer pool party or even a Forth of July BBQ.
